The first stage activates the new muscles through advanced strength and stability techniques designed to even out these new adjustments.

It begins with a bio-mechanical assessment of your movement patterns and running gait to identify and correct any posture or mobility issues in your current run flow.

I will identify the muscles where you still have weakness and provide targeted strength training. This stage normally lasts 4-6 weeks.

This will be stage one of your strength training program and will lay the foundation for the second stage of the program.

Stage two of your strength training program

After reducing your injury risk During this stage we will start to strengthen your running muscles for improved speed and performance.

We will also strengthen your upper body as the arms and trunk form a very important part in your running.

Coaching drills from Gerald’s methodology will reprogram your pattern of motion. This will allow you to utilise the strength you have gained into your running pattern.
